Four Chinese teas: Ruby Hill (wild black), Moonlit Peak (aged white), Golden Haze (oolong) and Jasmine (scented green). Each comes in its own sealed pouch, 80g in all, which makes about 20 servings.

We don't currently sell the teas as certified organic. Golden Haze is grown by natural farming, without pesticides, fertilisers or herbicides for over ten years. Ruby Hill and Moonlit Peak come from old tea trees in Jinggu, Yunnan, and Jasmine is a green tea scented with fresh blossoms.

Each bag is good for 2–3 brews — that's a Gongfu-style approach, where you steep briefly and re-steep to draw out different notes each time.

No. Each bag works with a regular mug and hot water. If you have a small teapot or gaiwan, even better — but we designed Four Moments for everyday cups and everyday people.

Yes, 2–3 times. Use slightly hotter water and a slightly longer steep each time. The second steep is often where the floral or fruity notes really open up.

Add a splash of cooler water to mellow it. The teas in Four Moments are forgiving — they're not designed to turn bitter quickly.

You can return unopened tea within 14 days of delivery for a refund. For food-safety reasons we can't take back tea once its seal is opened, but if anything arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, email us and we'll replace or refund it. Our Refund & Returns Policy has the full details.

Ruby Hill and Moonlit Peak come from Jinggu County in Yunnan, around the Wuliang Mountains. Golden Haze is an oolong from Nanjing County in Fujian, and Jasmine comes from Sichuan. Four Moments is produced by the Jinggu Majiu Tea Farmers' Professional Cooperative in Wenshan Village, Jinggu — their name is printed on every box.

Each tea is sealed in its own pouch, and the four pouches come together in a reusable tin. The maker's name and address are printed on the band around the tin.
